About Luna 

At the brink of dawn, we assemble in the studio groggy eyed, half asleep. Luna walks briskly into the room; "Morning!" she cheers instantly lifting the spirits in the room. We begin to set up the equipment whilst she perches on a large chair, admiring the surroundings and going over her staging. Once she's ready she steps in front of the camera, this is her music video but I wouldn't be surprised if she'd done this a million times before. Her glistening eyes stare straight into the lense of the camera, she moves her head slowly to the beat and her effortlessly soothing, soulful voice begins.

If there’s one to watch this year… its Luna.

 

Luna is a 23 year old singer song writer from South West London. From the age of 5 Luna was always singing and putting on performances for her family and friends. She quotes: 'I would always get told off at school for singing or tapping our a beat on the desk. I just always had a tune or beat in my head and I have used this to my advantage by writing my songs from these ideas in my head. I just want to get those ideas out of my head and onto the paper'.

 

She was excited when she secured her place at the BRIT school for performing arts where she got to channel her passion of singing through her studies. It was at this moment in time, when she was offered an audition for backing vocals for a local band. From this point onwards, Luna was gigging and getting known. 

Her debut album ' Won't dance' was inspired through this creative process especially '110%' where she wanted to combine her interest in hybrid genres with the lyrics inside her head.
